During this period of time, a number of notable events have occurred. ĭragon Ball Online is set in 1000 Age, exactly 216 years after Son Goku left the 28th Tenkaichi Tournament to train Oob in 784 Age at the end of Dragon Ball Z. It is reported that the Korean version of the game will be free to play with a cash shop. To date, it is possible to play the game's current development phase (Patch 1.0.25) by acquiring a Korean Netmarble account. It has been stated that Toriyama has been working on character designs for this project for the past five years. Series creator Akira Toriyama has a great deal of creative control over the project through contributing to and supervising the story and art design, including character and location arrangements. NTL held a press conference in South Korea on Februand expressed interest in releasing the game to a worldwide audience. A North American release has not been announced as of yet.
